FCAS 2.0: Shenzhen Summer Internship

The Shenzhen Summer Internship Programme is organised by Fin Society and sponsored by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). It is one of the four programmes under the Fintech Career Accelerator Scheme 2.0, which aims to enhance Hong Kong’s fintech talent building capability to meet the growing demand from the industry and to nurture young talents at different stages.

 

Programme Structure

  • Internship at leading fintech or techfin firms in Shenzhen, with exclusive events designed for students to experience the fintech ecosystem in Shenzhen

Stipend Allowance

Nominal allowance to be provided by hiring firms. The cost of accommodation and insurance will be covered by the HKMA.

HK$5,000 (fully refundable upon completion of the programme with satisfactory attendance)

 

Eligibility

Each applicant must:

  • be a holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card;
  • have reached the age of 18 by 30 April 2018;
  • be currently enrolled as a year two or year three undergraduate student, or postgraduate student at one of the participating tertiary education institutions;
  • be a student in the disciplines of Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Law, Information Technology, Business or Finance;
  • possess basic Chinese reading and writing skills and communication skills in Putonghua; and
  • be nominated by his/her school.
